I haven't written any diary for over 2 weeks. It is because I have to work 12 hours over night every day since 23 March.
Originally IFC arranged me 2 consecutive holidays at the late March. But in fact because of lack of manpower, I had to cancel 1 holiday for OT work. I was told by IFC I would have calmed the OT wage. But in fact, according to the MSS control, it might not be approved by the MSS human resource. It was because I had already taken 5 days holidays before I joined IFC and my IFC contract was effective from 1 April and my total holidays in March was 5 days according to MSS policy. I told them immediately why my contract was effective from 1 April, not 23rd March. The reason was that the MSS human resource couldn't have completed to have amended my record. In fact I lost the difference between the old MSS salary and IFC salary but I didn't say anything between the date 23rd March and 31st March. Why I couldn't have paid for my OT work on my holiday. Also my labour holiday for the third day of Lunar New Year and Ching Ming Festival was assigned to take on April and May 2013. I was very confused for those policy gaps. I was afraid that the loss was me.
I am happy to work at IFC but not for the 12 hours’ work. I could have cooperated with most MSS Chinese staff and they are willing to teach me, alert me for my work tasks. They are very nice and pleasant. I can be worked smoothly and avoid most of serious and minor mistakes. One of the reasons was that some staff inside IFC I have met before and we had cooperation experience. Hope we can keep our cooperation and friendship forever.
I think I will not work there for a long time. It is because I couldn't have any English improved if I work 12 hours every day. Also lack of enough sleep is another reason, especially for me. Of course the salary is one of the main factors. But I never think I will have bad lack forever. Is 2 to 3 hundred thousand dollars annual salary office job with standard office hour’s work difficult to find? I know it depends on the fortune.
I might be forgotten to complete OT time claim form during my work at H76 from January to March but I definitely remember I had been completed 2 MSS record forms everydays, 1 is daily attendence record and 1 is how much OT hours each day. I was strange why MSS haven't paid me any OT wages this year. I contacted the MSS human resource, control and my H76 workmate. Both MSS human resource and control expressed that they haven't received any of my OT form this year yet. So I contacted my H76 workmate to help me to check should there be still left at H76 send box. He expressed that he hasn’t seen any of my OT claim form that I had written form this year. I was strange about that. I remembered I had written the OT claim form every day and why he said he never saw about that. The reason was that there were one another claim form was needed. He expressed I might have forgot. But I told him why he didn't have told me about that. He smiled. I know if I haven't completed the OT claim for. It is my fault. But why no one told me before I discovered the question. I was disappointed and depressed for the rivalry. But I know the mistake should be me.
